If you want a professional bagpiper you need look no farther. I contacted Wheaton to perform at my dad's 92nd birthday and he was simply perfect. He is not only is an accomplished piper but over the course of the performance, he talks about the instrument and its history. He was immensely flexible to schedule and accommodating for the songs we wanted him to play. You simply will not find better.

His approach to teaching has been very tailored to me and my goals specifically unlike many other instructors, both in music and other fields, who try to use a "one size fits all" approach. He is always very personable and attentive at every lesson and he's also been extremely accommodating of my awkward schedule as a paramedic. Learning the pipes can seem like a tricky and daunting task when first starting out but I feel I have had great success under his tutelage and, while I have a long road ahead to being performance-ready, I know I picked a great instructor to help get me there.”
